The collection presentation "Broken Music Vol. 2 traced artists' engagement with the vinyl record over the last seven decades. Based on Ursula Block's groundbreaking exhibition Broken Music. Artists? Recordworks (1989), she illuminated the development of the record as a medium of art from the post-war period to the present day in ten chapters based on 700 sound carriers and established links to the field of music in composition and improvisation, pop, punk and club.
