The name of the Zurich design agency is the game: the precise solutions developed by Dimitri Bruni, Manuel Krebs, and Ludovic Varone are characterized more
by strict design rules like grids, proportions, and modularity. Their typefaces, books, posters, and corporate designs are leading the tradition of Swiss Style into the future. At the same time, their studio pursues research projects that explore the limits of graphic design: to what extent can image information be reduced and remain recognizable? How many pixel combinations are possible for the same theme? And what dimensions would a library have in which all these image variants would be stored? Norm’s first museum exhibition will explore the most fundamental elements and laws of graphic art.
This is the book accompanying this exhibition.
