It has the characteristics of a catalogue and yet is to be understood entirely as an artists' book – as an independent work. It is an invitation from Eric Emery, founder and artistic director of the project space, to the graphic artist Julie Joliat. She receives a Carte blanche to develop a new, vibrant graphic work from the photographic documentation of the numerous exhibitions. The concept of inviting artists* inside the room to develop works on site and for the site is thus transferred to the book: an in situ publication is created.
