Opening Times

We are open from 11am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday.

Current COVID-19 Policy

How it works: before you enter the shop, check how many people are inside (5 maximum), pop your mask on, and use our beautiful hand disinfection device before you start browsing. Be aware of social distancing (1.5 meters) while moving around the shop. No hugs this time, but books and magazines.

How do I find out about job vacancies at do you read me?!

We are looking for support at do you read me?! from time to time. If you are interested in joining us, write us an email to with your details and a short CV. If you don’t get an answer right away don’t take it personally – we’re probably just busy re-arranging our storage!

Interested in a magazine or book but can’t come by the same day?!

Nothing easier than that! Just give us a call +49-30-695-49-695, write an Email to or even buy it online and choose pick up to make sure that we’ll keep an eye on it until you swing by!

How can I find out about new arrivals, upcoming events or our stuff picked favourites?!

There are plenty ways to stay up to date! You can subscribe to our newsletter, follow us on Instagram and Facebook, or you can check out the News & Novelties section on our website.

How do I know if a specific magazine has arrived yet in your store?!

If you want to make sure you don’t miss the next issue of a magazine, write us an Email to and we will notify you once it has arrived.

Can I order books and magazines that you don’t have in your selection?!

If you are looking for a specific title we do not carry, you can write us an Email to and we will see if we can get our hands on it. Please note that it can take between 1 and 2 weeks for special orders to arrive. If it is a publication from a publisher we already have in our assortment it will be much more likely that we will be able to order your desired publication for you.

How can I pay?!

PayPal: You can pay with your PayPal account and use the deposited payment methods.

Credit Card: If you do not own a PayPal account, you can use your credit card via PayPal.

Gold Bars: just bring them here.

Bank transfer: You will receive an e-mail with our bank details after you place an order. We will immediately ship your order after we received payment.

How do I know that my purchase has been completed?!

After you completed your order you will receive a confirmation email with your all your details.

Something went wrong during the payment process. What can I do?!

Well, often it’s just a tiny thing we have to adjust! Just drop us an Email and we will take care of it. Done!

Store Pick Up

Can I order online and pick it up in your shop?!

Yes! Simply choose ‘Store Pick Up’ as your delivery option at the checkout stage. 

When can I collect my store pick up order ?!

If you have chosen ‘Store Pick Up’ as your delivery option, your order will be ready by the next day, or, if you place an order on Saturday, by the following Monday. You will receive an email when your order is ready to be picked up.


Do you ship internationally?!

We ship worldwide with some exceptions. Please check the ‘Country’ dropdown in the checkout if we deliver to your country. And please notice there will be extra charges if you live on an island. Lucky you! If your country is not in the list, please send us a short note.

How much will the shipping cost?!

Your order will be shipped climate-neutral with GoGreen and can be tracked. Shipping rates are dimension and weight-based and depend where on earth you’re living. Whenever possible we reuse packing material in immaculate condition to not produce more waste than necessary.

How do I know if my order got shipped?!

You will receive an Email informing you about the departure of your package. With the tracking number you will be able to track your parcel.

What if my order was damaged in transit ?!

In case your order arrives damaged please take some photos, especially when the box is damaged too and write us an Email. We’ll sort it out!



Generally are magazines and books excluded from the right of revocation, if the condition is good. This isn’t applicable for your goodies. Here you have the right to return the product within 14 days. Please find the instruction for this in the following abstract.

We ensure that are products will arrive in a perfect conditions. If something is broken or not how it is supposed to be, please contact us and describe the problem. Ideally send a picture. If you want to place a revocation please send back the package to the following address and put a signed letter of revocation in the package (you will find this in our ‘AGB & Widerruf’).

How can I submit a publication?!

Just give us some more details about your publication and send it to

-What’s the name of your publication?!
-Tell us in two sentences what your magazine or book is about! No superlatives and/or platitudes required – thanks.
-How often will it be published? (monthly, bi-monthly…)
-Which month(s) exactly?!
-What’s the origin of the publication? (City, country…)
-What’s the wholesale price?
-Do you already work with a European distributor?
-In case you do not work with a distributor we could take your magazine on commission with a 40% discount. This means:

Of the wholesale price you would receive 60% and we would take 40%, but you would need to cover the shipping costs. “On commission” means we will pay for the copies when they are sold, so we would start with a small amount and order more as needed.
-To get a better picture you might add a few photos (they can even be snapped with your phone), so we can get an idea how your magazine looks like, what the size, layout, paper is..
-And some basics: What’s your name? Do you have a website or an instagram account?

We are a very small team and we receive a lot of submissions, so please don’t worry if it takes a little while for us to get back to you. 


Can I have a tailored selection for my business?

Yes, you can! Please send us an Email at with some info about your business, what kind of magazines or books you are interested in receiving, and an estimate of your budget, and we will work together on a tailored offer of our magazines and books exclusively for your business.

Gift Voucher

How do I buy a gift voucher?!

You can buy a gift voucher in our store, or purchase one at our Online Shop. Please note that for the moment vouchers bought in store can only be used in the store and vouchers bought online can only be used online. Makes sense, no? And yes, we are working on that…

How do I redeem a gift voucher?!

If you are coming to our shop, simply present the voucher at the till. Online you simply use it as a payment method.
