Mousai was established during 2022, with the aim of bringing together multi-disciplinary art forms that explore the transgressive, esoteric, and liminal expressions from the cracks in the world. It seeks to harken elements of the zine culture that the curator was brought up on, whilst merging contemporary thought and aesthetics; importantly, denying commodification and pursuing furious honesty and authenticity.

Mousai is the principal output, providing a journal of diverse artists spanning differing disciplines, experiences, and expressions, through challenging collections that are seldom curated in this way.

Outside of Mousai, Kheir.Mousai seeks to collaborate with other artists and curators to bring works that resonate with the ethos of Mousai, to publication. Kheir is the musical expression of Mousai’s creator and curator, under the same banner and spirit that the journal and vision of publication seek to achieve.
